Disability Rights Advocacy Writing

During my time in-house at a nonprofit consulting agency, I served as the lead copywriter for this client, a major disability rights organization whose mission is to advocate for the rights, participation, and inclusion of individuals with disabilities.


As a nationwide organization with a chapter system, the client required a range of regularly deployed multi-channel fundraising and marketing campaigns to enhance their advocacy efforts, and I was responsible for providing the copy for each one, sometimes on a short turnaround.

As the sole copywriter on this account, I participated in campaign strategy meetings, brainstorming with the client services team to determine the most effective storytelling methods for each campaign. Ultimately, I delivered:
